Noel Coward's Private Lives, will open at the Vaudeville Theatre 3 March 2010, following previews from 24 Feb - running to 1 May 2010.
Directed by Richard Eyre, the cast includes Kim Cattrall (Amanda), Matthew Macfadyen (Elyot). It is produced by Duncan C Weldon / Sonia Friedman Productions.
Kim Cattrall is best known for her portrayal of Samantha Jones in Sex and the City.
London stage credits includes "Whose Life is It Anyway?" at the Donmar
Warehouse in 2005 and "Cryptogram" at the Donmar Warehouse in 2006.
Matthew Macfadyen is best-known for his role as Tom
Quinn in the BBC series Spooks. His London stage credits include "The
Pain and the Itch" at the Royal Court in 2005 and "Henry IV Part 1
& 2" at the Olivier v, NT also in 2005.
Glamorous, rich and reckless, Elyot and Amanda have been divorced
from each other for five years. Now both are honeymooning with their
new spouses in the South of France. When by chance they meet again
across adjoining hotel balconies, their insatiable feelings for each
other are immediately rekindled. Without a care for scandal, new
partners or memories of what drove them apart in the first place, they
hurl themselves headlong into love and lust...
