For the first time outside of the US, in a European and UK first,
internationally acclaimed actress and performer Megan Mullally will
take to the West End stage with her band, Supreme Music Program, for
eight performances only.
Best known for her two-time Emmy and four-time Screen Actors Guild
Award-winning role as Karen Walker on American TV comedy Will &
Grace, Megan made her Broadway debut in the 1994 revival of Grease with
Rosie O’ Donnell.
She received an Outer Critics Circle Award nomination for her
performance as Rosemary in the Broadway revival of How to Succeed in
Business Without Really Trying opposite Matthew Broderick and starred
in the hit Mel Brooks musical Young Frankenstein. Megan was also
recently seen in the new film remake of Fame, and can be heard singing
the solo “You Took Advantage of Me” on the Fame soundtrack.
She is currently working on a new Broadway musical entitled Karen:
The Musical, where she will reprise her role of Karen Walker from Will
& Grace. She will also star in series two of successful American
comedy series Party Down, airing on US cable channel Starz from April
2010.
Megan has recorded three albums with her band Supreme Music Program:
The Sweetheart Break-In, Big As A Berry and the recently released Free
Again!. She has performed at venues across America with Supreme Music
Program, including The Lincoln Center, The Kennedy Center,
The Seattle Symphony and Chicago’s Goodman Theatre. Her new show at
the Vaudeville Theatre will include songs from all three albums
alongside previously unheard material. It is the first time she has
ever toured with her band outside of the US, making Megan Mullally
& Supreme Music Program a rare chance to catch this charismatic,
versatile and popular performer for a strictly limited run.
