About A Christmas Carol

What would Christmas be without a rendition of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol? Oscar winner Jim Broadbent makes his long-awaited return to the London stage, starring as Scrooge in a new version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, adapted from Charles Dickens' classic story of greed, grief, ghoulish ghosts and eleventh hour redemption.

From Scrooge and Tiny Tim to Bob Cratchit and Mrs. Fezziwig, Patrick Barlow's imaginative adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL will bring some of Dickens' most memorable characters to life at the Noel Coward Theatre this winter.

Matthew Warchus directs Charles Dickens’ timeless classic A Christmas Carol, starring Rhys Ifans as Ebenezer Scrooge, in a joyous new adaptation by Jack Thorne.

On a bitter Christmas Eve night a cold-hearted miser is visited by four ghosts. Transported to worlds past, present and future, Ebenezer Scrooge witnesses what a lifetime of fear and selfishness has led to and sees with fresh eyes the lonely life he has built for himself. Can Ebenezer be saved before it’s too late?
