The Haymarket theatre (also known as the Theatre Royal Haymarket) is cited in the City of Westminster and is instantly recognisable as one of the grandest theatres in the West-End. It dates all the way back to 1821 and as such, is quintessentially British with wonderful interior and exterior design and architecture and mazes and warrens of corridors and wonderful paintings on the walls.

The Haymarket theatre is large and magnificent, standing out on the Westminster streets, yet it only holds 888 seats on 4 levels (including boxes) and as such offers a wonderful, intimate seating arrangement which results in a wonderful experience for the audience.

The Haymarket theatre was the first theatre to institute matinee performances – a tradition since adopted by many other theatres. The stage of the Haymarket theatre has been graced by a number of famous names over the decades including Ralph Fiennes, Helen Mirren, Judi Dench, Ian Mckellen and many more.
